Read this before you buy: UPA-A approved, NOT USAP approved. The HexGrit surface is too rough to pass USA Pickleball's roughness limit, and 11SIX24 has said they aren't making a USAP version. If your leagues or tournaments run USAP rules, this paddle is not legal for those events. Rec play, PPA amateur brackets and UPA-A events are fine. Not sure? Talk to us before you order β we'll point you at a USAP-legal option instead.
11SIX24 Summer Strawberry Power 2 16mm β Limited Edition
Same paddle, louder shirt. The Summer Strawberry is 11SIX24's limited summer colorway on the Power 2 platform β identical Gen 4 full-foam floating core, identical carbon fiber face with HexGrit, identical everything that matters. It just shows up dressed differently.
Limited run. When these are gone they're gone, and we're not getting more.
Pick your shape, not your color. This drop comes in Vapor (hybrid, balanced) and Pegasus (widebody, most forgiving). Shape changes how the paddle plays; the Strawberry finish doesn't.
Best For
- Players who already know they want a Power 2 and want the colorway nobody else has
- Spin-heavy games built on rolls, dipping drives and shaped thirds
- Anyone tired of replacing paddles because the face went smooth
- Rec, club, and UPA-A / PPA amateur play
Skill Level & Play Style
3.5 and up. Intermediate to advanced. The Power 2 rewards clean mechanics and amplifies sloppy ones β the pop arrives whether you meant it or not. Ex-tennis and racquet-sport players tend to click with it fast. Still building consistency? Something more forgiving will be more fun.
Why Players Like It
- The grit doesn't quit. Independent long-term testing put HexGrit at the top of its test group for grit retention.
- Two gears. Soft on resets, loud on drives β same paddle.
- Limited colorway. Small run, not a permanent SKU.
- $209 against $289+ competitors. Same class of build, meaningfully less money.

Performance Notes
Spin (third-party lab data). Pickleball Effect measured the Power 2 series at an average 2,113 RPM across ten serves on a Stalker Pro 3S radar β fourth-highest in their tested database. 11SIX24 publishes 2,335 RPM from their own independent testing. Testers reported the number barely moved after extended play, which is the real story.
Power and pop. Stiff and poppy with real top-end, but it needs to be activated β this isn't a paddle that generates ball speed on its own.
Feel. The floating core gives a softer hand at slow speeds than the pop suggests. Resets and drops are genuinely usable.
Measured figures above are third-party lab data on the Power 2 platform, not manufacturer claims. Individual paddles vary within the published ranges.
Quick Buying Summary
Buy it if: you want a Power 2, you want the limited colorway, and your events don't require USAP certification.
Skip it if: you play USAP-sanctioned tournaments, you're still developing consistency, or you want the elongated Hurache-X shape β not part of this drop.
How It Compares
Against the standard Power 2 line. Performance is identical to the Vapor Power 2 and Pegasus Power 2 in Teal, White or Lavender. Pick this one for the finish; pick those for a permanent SKU you can re-buy later. Want reach instead? The Hurache-X Power 2 is the elongated option.
Against Six Zero Coral Hybrid 16mm ($200). Similar money, different personality β the Coral is calmer and more forgiving, the Power 2 brings more bite and more top-end. Confirm current certification on either before a sanctioned event.
The Tech
HexGrit Surface β 11SIX24's patent-pending face texture, developed in-house. Built for spin that survives rather than spin that peaks out of the wrapper and fades. It's also the reason the paddle can't clear USAP's roughness limit.
Gen 4 Floating Core β full-foam construction that responds to swing input. Soft at low speed, progressively louder as you load up.
Carbon Fiber Face β Toray-grade carbon under the HexGrit layer.
FAQs
Is the Summer Strawberry Power 2 USAP approved?
No. UPA-A certification only, same as the rest of the Power 2 line. 11SIX24 has stated they don't plan to release a USAP version, because HexGrit exceeds USAP's surface roughness limit.
Does the colorway play any differently?
No. Same core, same face, same specs. Only the finish changes.
Which shape should I pick?
Vapor for balanced all-court play, Pegasus for the biggest sweet spot and quickest hands. Vapor is the safe default.
Why isn't the Hurache-X available here?
The elongated shape sold through on this limited run. The standard Hurache-X Power 2 is in stock in Teal, White and Lavender.
Will you restock it?
No. Limited drop β when it's out, it's out.
Can I try it first?
Yes β our 30-day play-test guarantee covers it.
