The Vapor is the hybrid in 11SIX24's Power 2 lineup, and it's the shape most players land on. Gen 4 full-foam floating core, carbon fiber face, and the HexGrit surface that's the whole reason this paddle got everyone's attention. The pitch is simple: power that shows up when you swing hard and gets out of the way when you don't. Load up on a drive and it pops. Slow it down at the kitchen and it resets clean.

3.5 and up. This is an intermediate-to-advanced paddle. It rewards clean mechanics and it will absolutely tattle on lazy hands — the pop is there whether you meant it or not. Spin (third-party lab data). Pickleball Effect measured an average of 2,113 RPM across ten serves on a Stalker Pro 3S radar — fourth-highest in their tested database. 11SIX24 publishes a 2,335 RPM figure from their own independent testing. Either way it sits in the top tier, and more to the point, testers reported the number barely moved after extended play.
Power and pop. Reviewers describe it as stiff and poppy with real top-end, but it needs to be activated — it isn't a paddle that generates ball speed on its own. Swing at it and it goes.
Feel. The floating core gives a softer hand at slow speeds than the pop suggests. Resets and drops are genuinely usable.

Vapor vs. the other Power 2 shapes. The Hurache-X is elongated (16.5", swing weight 114–118) for reach and leverage. The Pegasus is widebody (15.8" × 8.12", swing weight 105–110) for the biggest sweet spot and the most forgiveness. The Vapor sits between them — the default pick if you're not sure.

FAQs
Is the Vapor Power 2 USAP approved?
No. It carries UPA-A certification only. 11SIX24 has stated they don't plan to release a USAP version, because HexGrit exceeds USAP's surface roughness limit. If your tournament or league follows USAP equipment rules, you can't use this paddle there.
Where can I actually use it?
Rec play, club play, leagues that don't enforce USAP equipment rules, and UPA-A sanctioned events including PPA amateur brackets. When in doubt, ask your event organizer before you play.
Which shape should I get?
Vapor for balanced all-court play, Hurache-X for reach and drive leverage, Pegasus for the biggest sweet spot. Vapor is the safe default.
How long does the grit really last?
Independent long-term testing showed minimal measurable spin loss after extended play — a fraction of what comparable gritty paddles lose over the same period.
Is it 14mm or 16mm?
