What is a Hesacore Grip?
Hesacore is a performance grip with a hexagonal lattice that naturally molds to your fingers. It increases surface contact, lowers vibration, encourages lighter grip pressure, and helps stabilize the paddle during fast exchanges—great for comfort, control, and quick hands.
- Reduces vibration & hand fatigue
- Promotes consistent finger placement
- Improves stability on counters & blocks
- Pairs perfectly with overgrips for fine-tuning thickness
Sizes We Carry (Spinwave)
Tour Grip — Extra Small (XS)
Our most popular size. Slimmest feel and the most “connected” handle. Great for smaller hands or players who like a quick, whippy grip.
Best for: Fast hands, two-hand backhands, players who add an overgrip.
Tour Grip — Small (S)
A touch fuller than XS without feeling bulky. The safe “default” for many adult players.
Best for: Average-size hands; balanced control/comfort; overgrip optional.
Tour Grip — Medium (M)
Fullest Tour size we stock. Adds substance in the hand for players who prefer a thicker hold.
Best for: Larger hands, maximum comfort, players who avoid squeezing too hard.
Tour Grip — Small Elongated
Same Small diameter, but longer—made for elongated handles or paddles with 6" handles (great for two-hand backhands).
Best for: J2NF 6" handle and other long-handle paddles; two-hand players.
Gel — Small
Incorporates a gel layer for additional damping and comfort without feeling squishy.
Best for: Players managing elbow/hand irritation who still want a precise feel.
Carbon — Small
A firmer, more responsive variant with a carbon-reinforced structure for crisp feedback.
Best for: Players who love feedback & definition in the fingers during counters.
How to Choose Your Size
- Start with diameter: XS for the slimmest, S for most adults, M for larger hands or max comfort.
- Add an overgrip if needed: Overgrip increases thickness slightly and adds tack.
- Two-hand backhand? Consider Small Elongated for longer handles (e.g., 6").
- Sensitive elbow/wrist? Try Gel Small for extra damping.
- Want crisp feel? Pick Carbon Small for firm feedback.
Spinwave tip: If you’re between sizes, go slimmer (XS) and add an overgrip. It’s easier to build up than to slim down.

FAQ
Will Hesacore make my grip thicker?
Slightly, depending on size. XS is the slimmest. You can always add (or skip) an overgrip to fine-tune thickness.
Can I use an overgrip on top of Hesacore?
Yes—most players do. It adds tack and a touch of thickness, and it’s easy to replace as it wears.
Which size do most pros use?
XS is most common among competitive players who like a slimmer, connected feel—often with an overgrip.
What if I have a 6" handle or use two hands?
Choose Small Elongated for full coverage on long handles (e.g., J2NF 6"). It ensures proper fit and wrap length.
