The Selkirk OMNI is a do-everything all-court paddle for the modern, fast game. Selkirk took the foam-core power players loved in Project Boomstik and re-engineered it for versatility — so you can rip a drive, reset under pressure, and spin the ball heavy, all with one paddle. This is the Canyon Court colorway in the 16mm build.
Best for
Players who don't want to pick a lane. The OMNI's ReactCore gives you real pop when you swing out and a soft, connected feel when you need to dink and reset — an honest all-court paddle that adapts to the shot instead of forcing you into one style.
Skill level
Intermediate to advanced. If you've got a developing two-handed backhand and you're starting to play points with intention — attacking, resetting, working the kitchen line — this paddle grows with you.
Why players like it
- It genuinely does it all. Power when you swing out, plush control when you don't.
- Forgiving sweet spot. Pre-installed MOI perimeter weights stabilize off-center hits so mishits still go where you want.
- Spin that lasts. The InfiniGrit surface holds its bite far longer than a raw-carbon face.
- Tunable. The MOI weights come optimized out of the box, but you can remove and rearrange them if you want a different balance.

Performance notes
Widebody is the more forgiving, stable build — wider face, biggest sweet spot, easy to play long sessions. Elongated trades a little forgiveness for reach and plow-through; the higher swing weight (118 vs 112) means more put-away power but a slightly heavier feel through the swing. Both carry the same 16mm ReactCore and InfiniGrit face, so the spin and core feel are consistent across shapes — you're really choosing reach-and-power (Elongated) vs forgiveness-and-control (Widebody). Selkirk rates the InfiniGrit surface for spin up to ~2,000 RPM.
Quick buying summary
- Want one paddle that does everything? This is it.
- Forgiveness first? Widebody.
- Reach & power? Elongated.
- Tournament play? The InfiniGrit surface is built to USAP-compliance standards (confirm against the current USAP approved list for your events).
How it compares
The OMNI and its sibling, the Selkirk LABS Project Boomstik, share DNA but aim at different players. The Boomstik is a pure power weapon (and not USAP-tournament-legal in its retail MOI form). The OMNI dials that power back into a balanced, tournament-ready all-court paddle. If you want max boom for rec and open play, go Boomstik. If you want one paddle to compete with, go OMNI.
The tech
- ReactCore: a PureFoam floating center and PureFoam ring wrapped by an EVA Power Ring — a double-ring foam core that flexes for control and snaps back for power.
- InfiniGrit surface: a durable textured face that holds spin roughly 3× longer than raw carbon.
- Multistrata T700 face: a multi-layer carbon system tuned for consistent energy return and durability.
- Adjustable MOI Tuning System: perimeter weights, pre-set for a max sweet spot, removable if you want to re-tune the balance.
- Octagonal handle: defined edges so you can index your grip without looking down.
FAQs
Is the OMNI tournament legal? Selkirk builds the InfiniGrit surface to USAP-compliance standards, so it's positioned as the tournament-ready option in this lineup. Always confirm the exact model against the current USAP approved equipment list for your sanctioning body before an event.
Widebody or Elongated? Widebody for the biggest, most forgiving sweet spot; Elongated for extra reach and put-away power.
Do I need to mess with the MOI weights? No — they come optimized. Most players should leave them. They're there if you want to experiment.
How much spin? Selkirk rates the InfiniGrit face up to ~2,000 RPM, and it holds that bite longer than a raw-carbon face.
