RPM Jade — 14mm Widebody
USAP Approved · Pre-Order
The Jade is RPM's newest full-foam paddle, and it's built around one idea: spin that doesn't fade. The SICmatrix silicon-carbide face is rated Tier 1 durable roughness, so the bite you feel on day one is still there months in. This is the 14mm Widebody — the quickest Jade RPM makes, with a 104 swing weight and a thinner core that gets the ball off the face fast.
Best For
Aggressive doubles players who want to win hand battles. The 104 swing weight is the lowest in the Jade line, the wide face gives you margin on counters, and the 14mm core adds pop on speed-ups and put-aways.
Skill Level
Intermediate to advanced. RPM classes the Jade at Professional Level. The widebody shape is forgiving, but the livelier 14mm response rewards players with soft hands at the kitchen.
Why Players Like It
- Grit that lasts: SICmatrix holds its texture far longer than sprayed-on grit, so topspin and slice stay heavy.
- Fastest Jade: 104 swing weight — easy to reposition in rapid-fire exchanges.
- More pop: the 14mm core launches counters and speed-ups quicker than the 16mm.
- Forgiving face: 16" x 8" widebody with a 6.8 twist weight.

Performance Notes
Next to the 16mm Widebody, the 14mm is lighter in the hand (104 vs 107 swing weight) and livelier off the face — you jump on speed-ups before they develop, at the cost of a bit of the 16mm's dwell and calm on resets. Stability is nearly identical (6.8 vs 6.9 twist weight). If you want the Jade's spin with more pop and the quickest hands possible, this is your version.
Quick Buying Summary
Get it if: you play fast doubles, want long-lasting spin, and like a lively, quick paddle.
Skip it if: you want a softer, more controlled reset game — take the Jade 16mm Widebody. Want reach? Go Elongated.
Bottom line: The quickest, poppiest Jade — still on the most forgiving shape.

The Tech
SICmatrix Surface — a silicon-carbide face rated Tier 1 durable roughness, independently ball-cannon tested to hold its grit far longer than standard textured surfaces.
MPP Floating Core — a full-foam core wrapped in soft EVA foam for a big sweet spot, connected feel and resistance to dead spots.
Axial Carbon Layup — aligned carbon fibers for dwell, pocketing and stable energy transfer across the face.
FAQs
Is it tournament legal? Yes — USAP approved under the PBCoR .43 standard (Professional Level), so you're cleared for USAP sanctioned play.
14mm or 16mm? 14mm gets the ball off the face faster with more pop on counters and speed-ups. 16mm adds dwell and stability for blocks, resets and controlled attacks. Same face and shape on both.
How is the Jade different from the Q2? Both are RPM full-foam paddles. The Jade swaps in the SICmatrix silicon-carbide face for grit that lasts longer; the Q2 uses a carbon face that wears in the usual way.
When does it ship? This is a pre-order. The Jade ships the first–second week of November from our Great Neck and Boca stores. If your order includes other in-stock items, we'll hold and ship everything together when the Jade lands.
Do I get the free balls? Yes. Every Jade pre-order ships with a free 2-pack of Life Time LT Pro 48 balls (two balls), packed in the box with your paddle. No code needed and nothing to add to cart.
Is there a warranty? Yes — RPM backs the Jade with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
