RPM Jade — 16mm Elongated
USAP Approved · Pre-Order
The Jade is RPM's newest full-foam paddle, and it's built around one idea: spin that doesn't fade. The SICmatrix silicon-carbide face is rated Tier 1 durable roughness, so the bite you feel on day one is still there months in. This is the 16mm Elongated — the reach-and-leverage version, with a 16.5-inch face and a little extra mass for a calmer, more connected strike.
Best For
Players who drive from the baseline, attack from transition, and want a longer lever on serves, returns and overheads. Also a strong singles option. The 16mm core adds stability on blocks and resets, so you get the reach without the paddle getting jumpy at the kitchen.
Skill Level
Intermediate to advanced. RPM classes the Jade at Professional Level, and the 112 swing weight rewards clean, full strokes. A solid 3.5+ will get plenty out of it; newer players usually do better starting with the Widebody.
Why Players Like It
- Grit that lasts: SICmatrix holds its texture far longer than sprayed-on grit, so rolls and slices stay heavy.
- Reach: 16.5" x 7.5" elongated face for extra leverage on drives and overheads.
- Connected, settled feel: MPP floating core in soft EVA foam, with the 16mm adding dwell and stability.
- Full-foam durability: built to resist the core breakdown and dead spots that kill older paddles.

Performance Notes
Next to the 14mm Elongated, the 16mm keeps the same 112 swing weight but adds a touch of mass (7.8 vs 7.7 oz) and twist weight (6.2 vs 6.0) — so it doesn't swing any slower, it just feels calmer through contact. Next to the Jade Widebody, you trade some forgiveness (6.2 twist weight vs 6.9) and a bit of hand speed for real reach and more put-away on full swings. If your game lives at the baseline and you finish points with drives, this is the Jade to take.
Quick Buying Summary
Get it if: you want an elongated shape, elite spin that lasts, and a stable 16mm feel on full swings.
Skip it if: you live in kitchen hand battles or want maximum forgiveness — take the Jade 16mm Widebody.
Bottom line: RPM's longest-lasting spin in its most aggressive shape.

The Tech
SICmatrix Surface — a silicon-carbide face rated Tier 1 durable roughness, independently ball-cannon tested to hold its grit far longer than standard textured surfaces.
MPP Floating Core — a full-foam core wrapped in soft EVA foam for a big sweet spot, connected feel and resistance to dead spots.
Axial Carbon Layup — aligned carbon fibers for dwell, pocketing and stable energy transfer across the face.
FAQs
Is it tournament legal? Yes — USAP approved under the PBCoR .43 standard (Professional Level), so you're cleared for USAP sanctioned play.
Elongated or Widebody? Elongated for reach, singles and leverage on drives. Widebody for doubles, hand speed and forgiveness. Same SICmatrix face and core on both.
How is the Jade different from the Q2? Both are RPM full-foam paddles. The Jade swaps in the SICmatrix silicon-carbide face for grit that lasts longer; the Q2 uses a carbon face that wears in the usual way.
When does it ship? This is a pre-order. The Jade ships the first–second week of November from our Great Neck and Boca stores. If your order includes other in-stock items, we'll hold and ship everything together when the Jade lands.
Do I get the free balls? Yes. Every Jade pre-order ships with a free 2-pack of Life Time LT Pro 48 balls (two balls), packed in the box with your paddle. No code needed and nothing to add to cart.
Is there a warranty? Yes — RPM backs the Jade with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
