RONBUS Quanta R4.16
Hybrid shape, 4th-gen foam core, and the fastest hands in the Quanta line.
The Ronbus Quanta R4.16 is the hybrid-shape control paddle in Ronbus' 4th-generation foam lineup. Instead of honeycomb, it runs an EPP foam core with an EVA + TPE elastomer ring — no plastic, no core crush, and a feel that doesn't fade three months in. Up top is a raw Toray T700 carbon face with real texture for spin.
At a 104 swingweight it's the quickest paddle in the Quanta family, and the 5.78 twistweight keeps off-center contact honest. This is the one for players who win the kitchen exchange, not the baseline slugfest.
Why Players Like It
- 4th-Gen Foam Core — EPP core with EVA + TPE elastomer ring for pop, stability, and vibration dampening
- No Core Crush — built without honeycomb or plastic, so the feel stays consistent
- Low Swingweight (104) — fastest hand speed in the Quanta line for counters and reloads
- Hybrid Shape — splits the difference between elongated reach and widebody forgiveness
- Raw T700 Carbon Face — textured surface that bites the ball for heavy spin
- USAP PBCoR .43 Certified — tournament-legal for sanctioned play
What It Feels Like On Court
- Quick and light through hands battles at the net
- Lively pop off the foam core without the harshness of a stiff thermoformed build
- Predictable resets and drops with usable dwell time
- Easy to customize — the low swingweight leaves room to add lead where you want it
Who Is This Paddle For?
- Kitchen-line players who need hand speed above all else
- Anyone who wants a hybrid shape with no obvious weakness
- Players who want to try a modern foam-core build without spending $250+
- Tinkerers who like to add lead tape and dial in their own balance
