The Paddle

The Simone Jardim Hyperion C2 runs JOOLA's Carbon Charged Surface — a Carbon Friction face built for pop and easy spin generation — over a 14mm Reactive Honeycomb core. The Aero-Curve profile is shaped to cut air, so even at 16.5" long it swings like something shorter, and the carbon-framed build holds its feel game after game.

JOOLA rates it 96 spin, 95 control, 94 power, and that reads about right in hand: it slices and lifts without effort, resets without fighting you, and has enough pop to finish a ball at the net. 8.0 oz on a 5.5" handle. USAPA approved for tournament play. Straight up — this is an earlier-generation Hyperion, and it's priced accordingly. That's the whole appeal.

Who It's For

✓ Value hunters who still want real carbon — this is a genuine JOOLA carbon platform at a clearance number, not an entry paddle with a carbon sticker on it.
✓ Doubles players who live at the net — 8.0 oz and the Aero-Curve profile keep hand speed up, and the 5.5" handle leaves real room for a two-hander.
✓ Second-paddle and backup buyers — if you want a spare in the bag, a travel paddle, or something to hand a partner who's demoing, this is the smart way to spend that money.
! Not the best fit if: you want a current flagship. The C2 is an older-generation JOOLA CFS platform and we sell it at a discount for exactly that reason. It carries USAPA approval, not the UPA-A / USAP PBCoR certification our newer JOOLA paddles carry — so if you play sanctioned events, check your tournament's paddle list before you buy. And it won't match a new thermoformed, foam-injected paddle for raw power. Buy this as a value pickup, not as your next tournament weapon.
