The Paddle
The Magnus is Tyson McGuffin's signature shape — an elongated, aerodynamic profile with a shorter handle built specifically around his one-handed backhand and forehand-dominant "Ferrari Forehand" style. The larger paddle face gives it a bigger sweet spot than most elongated shapes, and JOOLA's Propulsion Core adds real dwell time for spin and put-away power.
It plays similarly to the Perseus and Hyperion in JOOLA's lineup — elite power and top-level spin — but the shorter 5" handle shifts the balance point lower for a lighter feel and quicker swing than a standard elongated paddle.
