The Paddle

Same J2NF platform, Aloha wrap. The part that decides how this Gen 4.5 Sword & Shield plays is the surface: CFC — carbon fiber over fiberglass over carbon — layered by Honolulu specifically for spin, durability and feedback. It's a face that holds the ball long enough to do something with it, and tells you exactly where on the paddle you hit it. Under that sits a multi-density all-foam core, EPP center with an EVA perimeter, tuned to a max PBCoR of 0.434 — the USAP legal ceiling.

That makes the J2NF a shot-shaper's paddle. Topspin serves drop, roll volleys dip, and drives carry shape instead of just speed. The patent-pending Aero Hybrid Plus outline — 16.2" x 7.8" — hands you elongated-style leverage to swing up through those balls without a head that drags behind your hands, and the numbers hold it together: 110–114 swing weight, twist weight of 7. Honolulu calls the result a Connected Reflex feel — firm, predictable, and honest about what you just did to the ball.

Tuned right to the 0.434 PBCoR ceiling, the J2NF is firm and lively by design — spin helps you control that, but it is not a dampened reset paddle and soft-game specialists usually want less pop. And for all the leverage, 16.2" is hybrid length, not true elongated reach.
