The Paddle

This is the arm-friendly one. ProKennex's Kinetic Technology is infused into the LG14's handle and stretches up toward the 14mm polypropylene honeycomb core, damping the vibration and shock that a rigid paddle drives straight into your wrist, elbow and shoulder. Less oscillation reaching the arm, less fatigue deep into a session — that's the whole design brief, and it's why this build carries the Elbow Relief name.

The rest of it is a genuine weapon. A 16.4" frame with the longest handle in the Black Ace line at 5.9" gives you reach, leverage and room for a two-handed backhand, while the 14mm core stays firmer and quicker off the face than the 16mm. The Carbon Fire Toray carbon surface holds its texture for spin and dwell, and the core spreads the sweet spot edge to edge — so you get control on resets and pace on put-aways without the sting.

Who It's For

✓ Players managing tennis elbow or a cranky shoulder — Kinetic Tech runs through the handle and into the core to absorb vibration and shock at contact. It reduces what reaches your arm; it doesn't treat an injury. But if a stiff thermoformed paddle is leaving you sore, this is the one to try.
✓ Two-handed backhand players — 5.9" of handle is the longest ProKennex puts on a Black Ace. Both hands fit with room to spare, no choking up over the bevel.
✓ Anyone who wants reach and a firmer core — the 16.4" frame buys you leverage on drives and coverage down the line, and 14mm plays crisper and more explosive than the 16mm Black Ace.
! Not the best fit if: you want maximum put-away speed. Kinetic damping is the point of this paddle, and comfort comes before raw power — a stiff thermoformed power paddle will simply hit a heavier ball. The 7.5" face is narrower than the 16mm's 8", too, so off-center contact is less forgiving.
