The Paddle

The J6CR is the elongated end of Honolulu's Core Reactor line, and it is a different paddle from the J2CR — not the same mold in a longer wrapper. Honolulu took the J2 long-handle geometry, extended the face and chopped the top with an aero curve: 16.48" x 7.52" on a 6" handle, with mass deliberately shifted toward the head. Core Reactor™ with Dynamic PowerFlex™ drives the pop; the industry-first Control Joint Technology™ is what keeps it from spraying.

The numbers say the rest. Swing weight runs 111–116 against the J2CR's 110–114, and twist weight drops to 6.2–6.7 from 7.0 — more plow-through and leverage on serves and drives, less margin on off-center contact. The Crystal Blue Endurance Surface™ – Blue Grit™ tested at roughly 2,091 RPM under UPA-A protocol, about 99.57% of the 2,100 limit, and it's UPA-A approved.

Who It's For

✓ Drivers who hit from the baseline — 16.48" of leverage and a 111–116 swing weight put real mass behind serves and third shots.

✓ Two-handed backhands — the 6" handle gives the second hand somewhere to go. The J2CR's shorter grip doesn't.

✓ Spin-first players in sanctioned play — ~2,091 RPM is roughly 99.57% of the UPA-A 2,100 RPM ceiling, and this one is UPA-A approved.

! Not the best fit if: your game is won in fast hands at the kitchen. A 111–116 swing weight with a 6.2–6.7 twist weight is the heaviest-swinging and least forgiving combination in the Sword & Shield line — the J2CR's wider 7.8" face and 7.0 twist weight is quicker and more stable on the block.
