The Paddle

The J2CR keeps the Aero Hybrid Plus footprint you know from the J2 — 16.2" x 7.8" — and rebuilds what's underneath. Core Reactor™ construction with Dynamic PowerFlex™ pushes energy return and pop; Control Joint Technology™ is there to keep that extra power predictable instead of wild. The core is Gen. 4.5 multi-density floating/pivoting foam: EPP center, EVA perimeter, 16mm.

The face is the headline. The Crystal Blue Endurance Surface™ is a crystal-infused texture process built to keep biting instead of polishing smooth after a couple of months — lab testing put the J2CR around 2,200 RPM. Paired with a 7.0 twist weight and a 110–114 swing weight, it stays stable on off-center contact and quick in the hand. Hybrid balance, not a head-heavy bomber.

! Not the best fit if: you need a paddle that's certified for sanctioned play right now. Honolulu lists the Crystal Blue Endurance Surface™ as approval pending on the J2CR — the J6CR is the UPA-A approved Crystal Blue build. If you want maximum reach and head mass, that's the J6CR too.
