Four shapes. One core. One face. If you have been staring at the 11SIX24 Power 2 lineup trying to work out whether you want the Pegasus, the Vapor, the Ultré or the Hurache-X, the good news is that the hard part is already decided for you. Every paddle in the series is built on the same 16mm Gen 4 full foam floating core with the same HexGrit carbon fiber surface.
What changes is geometry. And geometry is what decides whether a paddle feels like an extension of your arm or like a chore.
This guide walks through each of the 11SIX24 Power 2 paddle shapes, who it actually suits, and how to pick without guessing. We stock the whole 11SIX24 Power 2 line at Spinwave, we hit all of them, and we would rather sell you the right one once than the wrong one twice.
Before anything else: the certification question
The entire 11SIX24 Power 2 series is UPA-A approved and not USAP approved. The HexGrit surface is deliberately rougher than USA Pickleball's roughness ceiling allows, and 11SIX24 has said they do not plan to release a USAP-legal version. That means these paddles are fine for rec play, club play, most leagues, and UPA-A sanctioned events including PPA amateur brackets — but they are not legal in USAP-sanctioned tournaments.
We put this first because no amount of shape advice matters if the paddle cannot come to your events. If you play USAP-sanctioned tournaments, stop here and talk to us instead — we will point you at something legal in the same performance lane. If your calendar is rec, club and UPA-A, read on.
What stays the same across every 11SIX24 Power 2 shape
Worth being clear about this, because it narrows the decision considerably. Across the series you get:
- A 16mm core. No 14mm option. One thickness across the line.
- A carbon fiber face with the HexGrit surface. Same texture, same spin ceiling, same longevity, regardless of shape.
- A 4.125 inch grip circumference. Standard. Build it up with an overgrip if you need more.
- The same price. $209.99 whichever shape you pick.
- A 12-month manufacturer warranty and a protective cover in the box.
So you are not trading power for control or spin for durability. You are choosing a footprint. That is genuinely the whole decision.
Pegasus — the widebody

The Pegasus is the most forgiving of the 11SIX24 Power 2 paddle shapes and it is not close. At 8.12 inches across it has the widest face, and its twist weight of 7 to 7.25 is the highest in the series. Twist weight is the number that governs what happens when you catch the ball off-centre: high twist weight means the head stays square instead of torquing in your hand.
It also has the lowest swing weight of the four, which makes it the quickest paddle in the lineup at the net.
Pick the Pegasus if: you play most of your points at the kitchen line, you value hand speed in firefights, you mishit toward the edges more than you would like to admit, or this is your first foam-core power paddle and you want a soft landing.
Skip it if: you cover a lot of court and want reach, or you are a baseline driver who wants weight behind the ball.

The Vapor is the shape most people land on, and for good reason. It sits between the widebody and the elongated profiles without leaning hard in either direction. You get meaningful reach over the Pegasus without the narrow face and heavy swing of a true elongated paddle.
If you are genuinely undecided and you want us to just pick, we pick the Vapor. It is the safest default in the 11SIX24 Power 2 range and the one we see the fewest regrets on.
Pick the Vapor if: you play all-court, you want one paddle that does not force a compromise, or you are switching from another brand's hybrid and want a like-for-like footprint.
Skip it if: you know you specifically want maximum forgiveness or maximum reach. The Vapor is deliberately in the middle.

Ultré — the flat-sided "hylongated" (arriving in the next few weeks)
16.35 in long × 7.65 in wide · 5.5 in handle · 16mm core
This is the newest shape in the 11SIX24 Power 2 series and the most interesting one. We do not have it in stock yet — it lands in the next few weeks.
The Ultré is 11SIX24's answer to a problem with elongated paddles: most of them taper. Manufacturers pull material away from the corners to keep swing weight down, and the cost is a narrower usable face where the sweet spot shrinks toward the middle. The Ultré keeps the top flat and both sides flat, with no taper and no aero curve. The hitting surface stays square all the way out to the corners.
11SIX24 calls the profile "hylongated" — at 16.35 inches it sits between a hybrid and a true elongated paddle, but with a face that behaves more like a widebody. In practice, the claim is elongated-style reach without the punishing margin for error that usually comes with it.
One spec worth noting: the handle is 5.5 inches, shorter than the 6 inch handle on the Hurache-X. 11SIX24 says it is still two-hand-backhand ready, and it matches the Vapor's grip length, but if you play a two-hander with big hands it is worth measuring against what you use now.
Pick the Ultré if: you want reach but you have been burned by narrow elongated faces, you play a two-handed backhand, or you care more about a face that feels identical shot after shot than about raw swing speed.

16.5 in long × 7.5 in wide · 6 in handle · swing weight 114–118 · twist weight 6.25–6.5
The Hurache-X is the longest paddle in the 11SIX24 Power 2 line and the one with the most leverage. Its 114 to 118 swing weight is the highest in the series, which is exactly what you want if your game is built on driving the ball. That mass out toward the tip is free power on a committed swing.
It also carries the longest handle at 6 inches, which makes it the obvious choice if you play a two-handed backhand and want room for both hands without compromise.
The trade is real, though. Narrowest face in the family and the lowest twist weight, which means off-centre contact is less forgiving. This is a paddle that rewards clean mechanics and punishes lazy ones.
Pick the Hurache-X if: you came from tennis, you swing long and committed, you play a two-hander, or you want maximum reach at the kitchen and on the stretch.
Skip it if: you are still building consistency, or you spend most of your time in fast hands exchanges where the extra swing weight slows you down.

You play mostly at the kitchen and want forgiveness → Pegasus

You genuinely cannot decide → Vapor. It is the default for a reason.
A note on the limited colorways
Alongside the standard Teal, White and Lavender finishes, we carry two limited 11SIX24 Power 2 drops: the Summer Strawberry and the Peach Edition. Both are the identical paddle underneath — same core, same face, same specs as the standard line. Only the finish changes.
They are small runs and we are not restocking them. If you want one, do not sit on it.
If you are stuck between two 11SIX24 Power 2 shapes
Some rules of thumb that hold up more often than not:
Pegasus or Vapor? Ask where you lose points. If it is off-centre contact and slow hands at the net, take the Pegasus. If it is getting stretched wide and coming up short, take the Vapor.
Vapor or Hurache-X? Ask how long your swing is. Compact, punchy strokes suit the Vapor. Long, loaded swings — especially if you played tennis — suit the Hurache-X.
Hurache-X or Ultré? This one is about margin for error. Both give you reach. The Hurache-X gives you more of it plus the heaviest swing weight and the longest handle. The Ultré gives up a little reach and half an inch of handle to keep the face square and forgiving. If you have owned an elongated paddle and found the sweet spot too small, the Ultré is built for exactly that complaint.
You do not have to guess
Shape is the most personal variable in a paddle and the hardest to judge from a spec sheet. Two things we would rather you use than a coin flip:

Only the shape. All four use the same 16mm floating core, the same HexGrit carbon fiber face, the same 4.125 inch grip and the same $209.99 price. The Pegasus is a widebody at 15.8 x 8.12 inches, the Vapor is a hybrid at 16.25 x 7.75, the Ultré is a flat-sided hylongated at 16.35 x 7.65, and the Hurache-X is elongated at 16.5 x 7.5.
Is the 11SIX24 Power 2 available in 14mm?
No. The entire series is 16mm only. There is no 14mm option in any shape.
Which 11SIX24 Power 2 shape is best for a two-handed backhand?
The Hurache-X, which has the longest handle in the line at 6 inches. The Ultré is also two-hand ready but its handle is 5.5 inches, so measure against your current paddle before switching.
