As the thinner core version of Ben’s new Hyperion’s, this paddle boasts maneuverability, pop, and the control to tie it all together. While the 16.5” length doesn’t scream maneuverability, the Aero Curve shape certainly does. This shape helps us reload quickly and generate swing speed, while the 5.5” handle makes sure we can rip two hand backhands and reach tricky dinks. Back from the previous generation is the 11” by 5.5” Charged Carbon hitting surface that utilizes a unique texture and an additive bonding treatment to create spin, dwell time, and the crispy contact we crave.

New to this version of the Ben Johns Hyperion 3 14mm Paddle from JOOLA is a 14mm Propulsion core. By suspending a free moving honeycomb core within a sturdy foam perimeter, JOOLA created a core that boasts exceptional rebound behind the ball for unparalleled pop, without limiting its ability to play with a soft feel, offer an expanded sweet spot, and plow through off-center strikes. Finally, the midweight 8.0-ounce design completes the balanced feel by encouraging maneuverability and stability in equal parts.
