At the heart of this control lies a 15mm Polypropylene Honeycomb core. This proprietary core not only eats up vibrations for a soft feel that helps us place precise shots but works to stretch the sweet spot from edge guard to edge guard for consistent strikes all over the capable face.
Speaking of the face, the Proton Paddles Series One Type A Square 15mm Pickleball Paddle boasts a 10.5” by 8.25” Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber hitting surface with an integrated NanoTac texture. This texture is permanently integrated into the carbon fiber for impressive longevity and durability to go with the top-of-the-line grip. This texture grips the ball as it dwells on the rigid hitting surface so that we can hit spinning serves, controlled cuts, and top spin winners with ease. The 5.25” handle keeps our hand close to the sweet spot for consistent strikes and concise reloads during hand battles at the net.
